Highlights: Höcke already held a meeting at his place: the AfD's biggest donor comes from Hesse. This makes the 71-year-old from Hessen the party's largest financial supporter in Germany. The AfD donation was the largest donation by an individual to a party represented in the Bundestag until Christoph Alexander Kahl's CDU donation in December 2023. With Hartmut Issmer's six-figure donation to the party, another measurable level has now been exceeded in the continued rise of right-wing and presumably right-Wing extremist political movements.

The AfD's largest party donation comes from the Hessian civil engineer Hartmut Issmer.

Who is the “little millionaire” from Erlensee?

Erlensee – “High finance in the USA instigated the war in Ukraine,” Manager Magazin quotes the Hessian civil engineer Hartmut Issmer, who uses “high finance” as an anti-Semitic cipher that was used during the Nazi era to make defamatory statements against Jewish bankers.

Hartmut Issmer is also of the opinion that the climate and Corona policy has turned out to be a “sham” and that “movement must finally be made” regarding the AfD, as he told the Hanauer Anzeiger last year.

Therefore, Issmer made a donation of 265,050 euros to the AfD in January 2023.

This makes the 71-year-old from Hesse the party's largest financial supporter in Germany.

Hessian AfD donor Hartmut Issmer maintains personal contact with Björn Höcke

Hartmut Issmer runs an engineering office in Erlensee in the Main-Kinzig district.

The company, in which he employs three people, has made him what he describes as a “little millionaire”.

He also owns several properties.

Issmer told the Hanauer Anzeiger that he “knows [Björn] Höcke personally.”

The chairman of the AfD Thuringia, who according to a court ruling can be described as a fascist, had “already held a meeting” in Issmer’s house in Weimar.”

Issmer went public with his political views as early as 2019.

At that time he held a rally on Frankfurt's Opernplatz.

Under the motto “Patriots for Germany,” he spoke to a handful of like-minded people from a supporter decorated with German flags and the colors of the Reich flag.

At that time, Issmer accused the “globalists” of intending to breed an “Afro-Eurasian mixed breed”.

The Hessian building contractor had moderate success as a speaker.

He also failed in his attempt to acquire a radio license in Hesse.

The administrative court in Weimar, however, finally obliged the state of Thuringia to approve Issmer's nationwide radio program “Radio Rosamunde” in 2020.

With Hartmut Issmer's six-figure donation to the party, another measurable level has now been exceeded in the continued rise of right-wing and presumably right-wing extremist political movements in Germany.

The AfD donation from Hesse was the largest donation by an individual to a party represented in the Bundestag until Christoph Alexander Kahl's CDU donation in December 2023.
