I had a good time but I became disillusioned over the years.
My income was not keeping up.

“We are compensated 6,000 euros per hectare.
You have to count 2,000 euros for the uprooting costs if you pay for them personally, like me, otherwise it's more expensive.
It’s my only option to get out of this,” confides Bernard Daraignes, following the jaw of the excavator extracting the vine stocks.
