Donetsk – Russia is advancing further in the Ukraine war in the east of the battered country.

While the Ukrainian army is suffering from an acute shortage of ammunition and has to move so-called M-55S hybrid tanks back and forth to the front in view of its own heavy losses, the brutal tactics with the kamikaze drones are apparently continuing to work.
According to the daily analysis by the
Institute for the Study of War (ISW)
on March 25, "geolocalized images" would indicate that the Russian armed forces have advanced "marginally" south of the settlement of Novomykhailivka - located around 20 kilometers southwest of the large city of Donetsk .
Russian advances were also
reported from the settlement of Heorhiivka near Marjinka, a few kilometers west of Donetsk, which has long been hotly contested.

But: According to British assessments, Russia's advances in eastern Ukraine have slowed down in recent weeks.

News like this, or that the next sensitive air raid on occupied Crimea has been successful, gives Ukrainians hope in difficult days of the war.
