Ten days of marquee, lots of events, lots of visitors, lots of beer.
This is the first summary of the Josefifest, which traditionally takes place on Reutberg.
Sachsenkam –
August Maerz is extremely satisfied.
Shortly after the end of the 34th Reutberger Josefifest, the chairman of the board of the cooperative brewery drew a positive conclusion.
"It went well.
We had a nice and, above all, peaceful festival again this year.” According to his initial assessment, there were even slightly more visitors than last year.
“About the same amount of beer was drunk,” says Maerz.
“It must have been between 200 and 250 hectoliters.”
Positive balance: all events a success
All events were a success.
“But in general there was always a lot going on on Fridays and Saturdays,” he says happily.
The traditional costume fashion show last Sunday was “a nice conclusion, like every year”.
“It's always a lot of work, but the tent was completely full.
So it’s worth it.”

The security service had less work.
“As far as we know, there was not a single fight,” emphasizes Sachsenkam mayor and patron Andreas Rammler.
“That makes me most happy.
With a 10-day strong beer festival, it's not necessarily a given that everything will run smoothly. He also hasn't received any complaints about disturbances of the peace or the like.
Rammler estimates the number of festival visitors at around 15,000. “The beer tent was always really full.” There was a particular rush at the general meeting.
“But it’s like that every year.”
