For several minutes, this June 30, 2021, the railway security men have been trying to reason with him and make him drop his weapon, but in vain.
As he approached the children, the two officials opened fire and shot the man who was 35 years old.
This will result in them being indicted for murder by a person holding public authority before benefiting from a dismissal of the charges at the end of February.
According to the investigating magistrate, they were placed “faced with a certain and imminent risk of harm to the lives of children present nearby” and acted in self-defense.
