The Maschinen- und Betriebshilfsring Amperland eV offered broad support in many areas last year and achieved a surplus.

Ried – The Maschinen- und Betriebshilfsring Amperland eV held its general meeting.

With over 1,500 members and a billing value of 8.2 million euros, the association has a solid basis.

In addition to operational and household help, the Maschinenring also offers its members support in the areas of billing, machine brokerage and applications, for example with fertilizer calculations, multiple applications and gas oil applications.

The very well-attended general meeting in the hall of the Doll inn in Ried was opened by chairman Josef Brandmair.

He was pleased that many members accepted the invitation.

For the coming years it is planned to hold the general meeting alternately in the Dachau and Fürstenfeldbruck areas.

The district chairman of the Bavarian Farmers' Association Dachau, Simon Sedlmair, gave a welcoming speech.

He addressed the current and difficult situation in agriculture, praised the merger of the two machine rings to form the Amperland machine ring (we reported) and wished him all the best for the future.

Facts and figures about the Amperland machine and operational support ring in 2023

The Maschinen- und Betriebshilfsring Amperland eV offered an extensive program of events for 2023.

As chairman Josef Brandmair reports, among other things, two training courses on plant protection, a festive evening, a community day, a tire collection, a day trip and a strategy meeting took place.

In the area of operational assistance, 11,300 hours of economic and 9,400 hours of social operational assistance were provided last year.

When it comes to machine brokerage and billing, fodder production/straw harvesting, grain harvesting and organic fertilization were the areas with the highest billing values.

In addition, an area of around 1,300 hectares was used for the sugar beet harvest.

At the end of 2023, the association had 1,525 members.

The club's transfer value was 8.2 million euros.

The association's largest income came from membership fees amounting to 147,015 euros, while the largest expenditure was on personnel costs amounting to 183,553 euros.

The surplus was 5783 euros.

Maschinenring Amperland-München GmbH, a subsidiary of the association, achieved over 375 points in the boundary stone search in 2023.

In addition, 200 companies were supported with fertilizer calculations, multiple applications, gas oil applications and the mediation of payment claims.

The GmbH's largest business area is winter service.

Other services include vegetation care, grading professional and exterior cleaning.

The competence center for surrounding machine rings also specializes in electricity.

The GmbH's total sales were 5.3 million euros, sales without diesel and heating oil were 3.0 million euros.

Brucker Services AG achieved total sales of 288,000 euros.

Afterwards, managing director Thomas Brandmair informed the members about the past financial year.

The conclusion in 2023 is very pleasing, as a surplus of 5,783 euros was generated (see box).

The reason for this is lower personnel and space costs, which can be attributed to the merger of the Maschinenring Dachau and Maschinenring Fürstenfeldbruck last year.

In the commercial subsidiary – Maschinenring Amperland-München GmbH – farmers can secure additional income.

In winter service, the GmbH's largest business area, but also in vegetation care and exterior cleaning, a number of objects were acquired again last year.

Together with the diesel collective order for members, Maschinenring GmbH generated sales of 5.3 million euros in 2023.

A second pillar of Maschinenring Amperland-München GmbH is the marketing of electricity for its members and neighboring machine rings.

This means that a total of six districts are looked after by the office in Dachau together with Land-Energie.

Land-Energie is a subsidiary of Maschinenring Deutschland based in Neuburg an der Donau.

This is responsible for everything related to energy marketing and also offers members interesting electricity offers.

I would like to see more voices from politicians and the public.

In the guest lecture by Land-Energie, Sabrina Lichtenstern informed those present about the topic “the EEG remuneration is ending, how can I continue to operate my subsidized system sensibly?”.

She addressed the main points such as the legal regulations for continued operation, using the electricity yourself and increasing your own consumption or continued operation with land-based energy as a marketer.

At the end of the meeting, second chairman Gregor Grill took over the microphone.

He gave an outlook on the planned actions and events in 2024 and, in his closing words, wished for “more hearing from politicians and the population”.
