Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 are Microsoft's first work laptops designed to make the most of Copilot's generative artificial intelligence features.
The American giant unveiled the two models during an online event entitled "The new era of work".
It is no coincidence that the newly presented Surfaces aim to enhance many work activities, in which AI can speed up people's operations.
As anticipated in recent weeks, making its debut on the two laptops is a dedicated Copilot button, with which to quickly call up the digital assistant.
"77% of those who have used Copilot never want to go back," explained Brett Ostrum, head of Microsoft's Surface division.
“And to make the most of AI we need computers built around this technology.”
The notebooks integrate all the different versions of Copilot developed by Microsoft so far, such as the recent Copilot for Security, for data privacy and prevention of computer infections.
Specifically, Surface Pro 10 is a convertible, with a keyboard that can be detached while the Laptop 6 has the more traditional shapes of a laptop.
To encourage inclusion, Microsoft has also launched new accessories to support disabled users.
Among others, the first detachable keyboard with more prominent buttons and improved backlighting, to make typing easier for those with vision problems.
Updates in the company's software are added to the products.
ON Windows 11, quick links arrive to enable reading of the text in front of you in each window, changing font size and activating subtitles.
All options already present but which can now be turned on or off simply by asking Copilot's artificial intelligence.
