It was a topic in the local council and in various citizens' meetings: Now the road swing at the Unterbiberg elementary school and the bridge over the Hachinger Bach will be dismantled and straightened.
Unterbiberg
– Mayor Thomas Pardeller (CSU) informed the local council about this at the most recent meeting.
There was no objection to the measure, which is scheduled to begin after Easter and be completed by the beginning of May.
Consequence of the construction work: An approximately 50 meter long section of the “Am Hachinger Bach” route in front of the bridge will only be accessible to through traffic on one side.
Through traffic for trucks and buses should also remain limited.
There is also a crossing
In addition to dismantling the “traffic nose”, as repeatedly requested, a crossing aid for pedestrians and cyclists will also be set up in front of the bridge.
For this purpose, the route is colored in this section.
To this end, minor repair work will be carried out as part of the measures.
The civil engineering work for future LED lighting for the crossing aid is also already being carried out.
As already reported, the municipality of Neubiberg will implement the planned LED conversion of the community's street lighting in the summer.
