Exchanges that are stained.
The number two on the National Rally list for the European elections, Malika Sorel, admitted on Tuesday to having “wanted to serve France” by having “exchanges” with Emmanuel Macron during the last reshuffle, considering however that the head of state does not is not “on his line”.
An article in Le Canard chainé from Wednesday's edition reports offers of services during the last reshuffle to Emmanuel Macron made by Malika Sorel, an essayist formerly close to François Fillon.
Questioned Tuesday on the sidelines of an event organized by the RN in Paris, Malika Sorel acknowledged “exchanges of SMS” in December with the Head of State, who, according to her, “recovered some elements of language for his wishes to the French” of December 31.
“Help France”
“I reiterated my desire to help France, in particular on education issues,” she added, indicating that her last SMS addressed to the President of the Republic explained that “De Gaulle had in his alongside Couve de Murville and André Malraux and that Emmanuel Macron had Stéphane Séjourné (…) and Rachida Dati at his side”.
“The last SMS that I sent to the President of the Republic was:
Mr. President, I cannot imagine that you are insensitive and indifferent to the image that you will leave in the history of France.
Are you going to act or not?
», continued Malika Sorel.
“I accept that I wanted to serve France where I am,” concluded the woman whose number two place on the Lepéniste list was made official on Sunday, while considering that Emmanuel Macron is “the opposite of what I carry in terms of republican principles and secularism.”
Asked about the knowledge of this episode by the RN staff, Malika Sorel affirmed that the head of the list, Jordan Bardella knew “perfectly that I have always wanted and that I want to serve France: so everything is clear, I am a woman who always speaks clearly, who takes responsibility for everything she has done.”
