The number of tickets was decided just a few hours before the press conference to present the “popular ticketing” of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games (JOP) dedicated to the inhabitants of Seine-Saint-Denis.
This Tuesday noon, the president of the departmental council, Stéphane Troussel (PS), announced that nearly 180,000 tickets would be offered to residents of 93. “In total, more than one in 10 residents will be able to attend the Olympic or Paralympic Games », Underlined the elected official.
Of these 180,000 tickets, 28,000 will give access to the high platforms, along the Seine, to follow live the opening ceremony of the Games, Friday July 26, in Paris.
“Seine-Saint-Denis will have 13% of all tickets on the high platforms.
This corresponds to the upper range of what we had set,” specified Stéphane Troussel, while several communities had estimated in recent days that they had not received enough places from the Cojo (Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games ).
