“On June 9, vote, I promise it’s easy! »
Who is talking to you?
It's Samy Kantor, the protagonist of
Parlement
, played by Xavier Lacaille, also creator of the political satire whose burlesque excitements France Télévisions has been broadcasting for 3 seasons now.
Installed in the hemicycle of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, he explains to his former boss, the deputy Michel Specklin (Philippe Duquesne), that he should - for once - fulfill his duty as a citizen and elected official by going to vote.

TV program this evening: our selection of the day
To the man who objects by arguing that he no longer has a voter's card - the height of it!
-, he reminds that an identity card is enough but that if he wishes, he can also register or re-register in a few clicks.
Presented at Séries Mania with another, the tablet lasts 30 seconds.
In total, eight videos are planned.
They will be put into circulation on May 9 as part of Europe Day and will remain on the web, social networks and on the France Télévisions channels until June 9, the date of the first round of the European Elections.

A communication with little onions
A fine-tuned communication campaign, well in line with the group's public service mission and totally in line with the success of the program.
In the other clip shown last week in Lille and shot in the same hemicycle, Gilles (Pascal Sangla), the deglingo on duty and Samy's colleague, dialogues with a pile of pistachios, under the overwhelmed eye of Samy and with this message:
“On June 9, don’t let Gilles decide for you.”
Enough to treat yourself to a few nice slices of laughter.

It is also important to remember that these elections are of the utmost importance, given that this body of the European Union today has so many legislative, budgetary and supervisory powers.
Initiated by Cinétévé, the producer of
Parlement
, and designed by two pillars of the series, the Eurocrat screenwriter Pierre Dorac and the director Jérémie Sein, this campaign is supported by the Jean Monnet Institute, named after the founding father of the European unification.
These 8 mini-episodes were produced at the very beginning of the year, just before the start of filming for the fourth and final season of the program.
As a reminder, the fiction follows the journey of Samy, a young parliamentary assistant who arrived in Brussels the day after the Brexit vote.
Unaccustomed to the workings of this enormous machine, he experiences it through thirty and soon 40 episodes.
As a reminder, the participation rate in the last European elections, in 2019, stood in France at only 50.1%, just below the European average, but well below the 88.5% and 61.4%. % registered in Belgium and Germany.
Could do better then...
