“We need to protect our bodies and give them the opportunity to heal themselves.

“One of the most common side effects of chemotherapy is a reduction in white blood cells,” says the doctor.
“When you have low numbers of neutrophils, the cells that help us fight infections, you have higher rates of infection during chemotherapy.”
