8 p.m. for Gabriel Attal Wednesday evening.
A meeting on Thursday.
And a debate in the Assembly in a month.
The government wants to tackle head on the slippage in the public deficit last year, and the need to find resources to meet the state budget for this year.
A debate on public finances will be organized in the National Assembly on April 29, at the request of the Finance Committee of the lower house, we learned on Tuesday from a parliamentary source after the announcement by INSEE of a sharp deterioration in the budgetary situation, to 5.5% of GDP last year.
The debate does not yet appear on the Assembly's agenda on its website.

After a speech by the government, representatives of all political groups will be able to speak in the hemicycle during this “debate on the orientation and programming of public finances”.
This timetable leaves the government one month to prepare and present new directions.
On Wednesday evening, Prime Minister Gabriel Attal must, according to TF 1 which announced his presence on its evening news, "unveil the government's latest decisions on work and will speak on several current issues".
Furthermore, according to what Senator Patrick Kanner (PS) announced to Le Parisien in the middle of last week, the government invited the presidents of groups in Parliament, the presidents of the finance committees of the two Assemblies as well as the Budget rapporteurs to an information meeting on public finances on Thursday.
Ministers Bruno Le Maire (Economy), Thomas Cazenave (Public Accounts) and Catherine Vautrin (Labour) are expected to attend.
