“During the check, all five Romanians were able to properly identify themselves.

When checking the vehicle, the federal police discovered a total of six puppies, which were moving freely and unsecured in the interior of the minibus,” the press release says.

Although the owner was able to provide vaccination certificates for the dogs, the vaccination required for entry into Germany was missing.

In addition, the puppies, which were around eight weeks old, were not transported according to regulations.
