The meeting takes place on April 24 at Ici, an independent bookstore established on the Grands Boulevards in Paris.
Madame Figaro
offers the opportunity to 25 readers and their +1 to meet Rachida Brakni, actress of the Comédie Française.
She wrote her very first novel entitled “Kaddour” published on March 6 by Stock editions.
A poignant story through which she recounts the loss of a loved one, her father, and the tension between two countries she loves, Algeria and France.
She also evokes the relationship that her father transmitted to her to language, books and her roots.
A portrait which gives flesh and brings out of the anonymity these uprooted men reduced to their condition of workers, torn between two countries;
a portrait to pay tribute to the man without whom she would not be the woman she is.
This meeting will be led by Minh Tran Huy, literary journalist at Madame Figaro.
