A selection of locations for each level.

1 / 13In the Allgäu High Alps: The high mountain lake Unterer Gaisalpsee.

The hike usually starts from Reichenbach (not far from Oberstdorf), and the tour lasts about four hours.

Swimming is allowed in the lake, so don't forget your bathing suit.

Located in the Berchtesgadener Land with the national park community of Schönau am Königssee, it is one of the most extraordinary excursion destinations in southern Bavaria.

Everyone gets their money's worth here.

Hiking fans have several peaks to choose from and families can take a boat trip across the lake.

The Schrainbach waterfalls are also a hit.

The Jochberg (see picture) is the “easier”, little sister.
