Arriving in Bologna from 11 June to 25 August, in the rooms of the Civic Archaeological Museum, Enrico Berlinguer's places and words, a multimedia exhibition created to celebrate the figure of one of the protagonists of the political history of the twentieth century, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth.
The exhibition - which in recent months was at the former Mattatoio in Rome and is promoted by Fondazione Duemila, Centro Studi RenatoZangheri and Associazione Enrico Berlinguer - will be divided into various sections: historical, to reconstruct the political and personal path of the leader of the PCI through the consultation of material original video, photographic and autograph documents; graphics, with the political manifestos developed during the years of Berlinguer's presidency;
video/cinematic, with the copious production of documentaries on Berlinguer;
author's photographs, books, in-depth analysis, with the full digitized version of the documents.
"Forty years after his death - comments the mayor Matteo Lepore - Berlinguer continues to be one of the most beloved figures of the Italian left. Many of his words, his thoughts, his interventions still circulate today on social networks. His style and style remain strong in the collective memory. the strength of his thought, visionary and concrete. This exhibition does not only want to remember his extraordinary figure, but to highlight the relevance of Enrico Berlinguer's thought, capable of still speaking to many about social justice, about the meaning of the words work and progress, about peace".
