Spring is in the air.

Gradually the days are getting longer, the temperatures are getting warmer - and people are becoming more in love?

For some, spring fever is a romanticized myth, for others it is true: you fall in love faster in spring.

And the Theater Unlimited's own production is also about what is probably the most beautiful feeling in the world: “Oh, love”.

Landsberg – The Theater Unlimited stands for lived inclusion.

Actresses and actors with and without disabilities present a new play every year in the Landsberg City Theater.

The theater is supported by Aktion Mensch and works with Lebenshilfe Landsberg.

Theater Unlimited in Landsberg: looking for love

What is the theater's new play about?

It takes place in “Sommerloch”, a small town somewhere.

The center of everything is Annegret's hairdresser's shop.

In addition to customers with new hairstyles, customers with the latest local news come and go here.

When Annegret learns that one of her customers has not yet found true love, she immediately takes over the search for the right one.

“Love is a big topic,” says director Mirjam Kendler.

Because most actors don't have a relationship but want one.

After the last piece “It's always nicer...?” was about the search for happiness, this time it's the search for love.

For over a year, the entire theater team and the ensemble have been fine-tuning the piece, the “romantic-absurd comedy with a surprising happy ending,” as it says on the theater flyer.

Kendler himself also wrote the piece, or rather the skeleton of it.

The director says it takes a long time for the scaffolding to become a finished script.

Because each character is tailored to an actor in the ensemble and not the other way around, as is usually the case in plays.

The actors' texts are also more of a framework than predetermined sentences.

The basic message has to be right, how it is conveyed is largely decided by the actors.

Two professionals support you

Dramaturgical consultant Markus Wörl supports the design and execution of the piece.

And faces well known outside of Landsberg take part in the piece.

For example, Eva Wittenzellner, known from “The Rosenheim Cops,” plays the hairdresser Annegret.

And also Richard Oehmann, author and director of the Nockherberg Singspiel/Dr.

Döblinger's tasteful Punch and Judy show can be seen in the piece.

Finally there was also support from performer Helga Seewann.

Because in the piece the actors don't just sit in a hairdresser's chair - there will also be dance scenes.

How it all fits together and plays together can be seen at the premiere on April 5th in the Landsberg City Theater.

The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. There are also two interpreters who will translate the piece into sign language.

Admission is free, donations are requested.
