In its latest bulletin, published at 4 p.m. this Tuesday,

places three departments on orange snow-ice alert for the day of Wednesday March 27: Haute-Loire, Loire and Isère.
Snow will fall there at low altitude,
“from 400 meters”
, during the night from Tuesday to Wednesday and Wednesday morning.
According to estimates, flakes will fall for up to nine hours.
Haute-Loire will be
“particularly”
concerned.
10 cm of snow in Puy-en-Velay
“The rain-snow limit drops to around 600 meters overnight, causing 10 centimeters of snow in Puy-en-Velay and 20 centimeters on the plateaus at 1000 meters altitude. Only the Brivadois should be spared
,” details the bulletin.
On the Loire and Isère, it can snow above 400 meters which will have consequences for the Saint-Etienne metropolitan area and the Cold Lands.
Up to 5 centimeters are possible from this altitude, and 10 centimeters from 600 meters, concludes
