With the exception of a few regions, the country is affected this Tuesday by intense precipitation along the Mediterranean, wind and locally low temperatures for the season, according to Météo France.

all of France is covered in gray or rain.
At the start of the morning, clearings took place in Franche-Comté.
Precipitation increases along the Mediterranean.
The wind blows strongly, stormily in gusts in Hérault and Bouches-du-Rhône where it reaches 100 km/h.
It blows almost as hard in the Var.
Hérault also remains on orange alert (level 3 out of 4) due to the risk of wave-submersion.
Bordering departments are on yellow alert (level 2 out of 4).
In the region, yellow vigilance is also required due to rain and the risk of flooding in Hérault, Gard, Lozère and Ardèche.
Saône-et-Loire, Pyrénées-Atlantiques and Alpes-Maritimes are also affected.
In the afternoon,
precipitation increases in the south of the country.
It is in the Cévennes and its surroundings that they are the most virulent.
Hérault and the Montpellier sector are particularly affected by the Mediterranean episode.
The wind continues to blow at levels similar to those of the morning.
Elsewhere in the country, most of the Atlantic coasts escape the rain, as do the North-East and the Alps where the sun can even shine.
Temperatures ranging from 8°C to 12°C in the North are up to 5°C below average.
In the South, they drop to 7°C in Occitania, or 8°C less than the norm.

The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur regions remain well watered.
In Île-de-France,
the day is rainy.
Moments without precipitation are rare.
Temperatures are around 10°C in the morning and gain between 2°C and 3°C during the day.
They are barely in season.
From the end of the day, the wind blows a little in the east of Seine-et-Marne, around 40 km/h-50 km/h maximum.
In the evening and next night, the precipitation ends.
