“Did anyone recognize you?” a fan understandably wants to know: At his own performance, a big music star drove up on a bicycle.

Of course, music stars also have a lot to do before and after their concerts, such as sound check, rehearsals, media appointments and of course arrival and departure.
But some are not able to make full use of this and use it to explore the respective city.
Unusual sights always arise on social media: for example, when Mick Jagger roamed the English Garden in Munich.
Or when P!nk cycled past the cathedral in Cologne.
James Blunt in Berlin: “I just arrived at today’s performance”
James Blunt also got on his bike when he wanted to clear his head before his own performance.
The 50-year-old recently played in Berlin.
And the crooner with a great sense of humor, whose self-deprecating tweets are legendary, once again scored points on social media: he documented his bike trip with a photo.
Posted on concert evening at 6:19 p.m.
“I just arrived at today’s performance.
Hello Berlin!” he writes, with the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin in the background.
Nobody seems to notice that the man who will make the audience cheer in the evening is posing.
At least there is no indication of this in the normal hustle and bustle of passers-by behind him.
Blunt is also well camouflaged with a baseball cap.
And no one would have expected Blunt to ride his bike to his own concert.
Now it cannot be assumed that he had traveled the long way from Mannheim, where he had performed two days earlier, on the bike.
It seems more like a small city tour.
And because of a one-day gap in the tour schedule, he was able to afford it before he
opened his Berlin show with “Beside You” on March 20th at around 9 p.m., according to
setlist.fm .

The fans celebrate his bike photo: there were more than 12,000 likes (as of March 23) on Facebook.
Plus comments like “Lol that’s funny,” “Cool,” “Don’t forget to plug it in somewhere,” “Did anyone recognize you outside?” or “If only people knew it was you standing there.”
Others look closely, comment on the saddle or say: “The socks are good”.
A fan wants to know: “And how far did you drive exactly, James?
Be honest.” Probably only to the point where he still had enough fitness for 20 songs in the evening.
The photo of a world star in front of a pub is also legendary.
