“During the day of Wednesday March 27, I will blow everything up (…), I put C4 everywhere in the school and in the classes.

» This is the message that several schools in the capital received this Wednesday morning.

At least three colleges in the 15th arrondissement, as well as other sites from the 12th, 14th and 19th centuries, are affected.

According to our information, the staff of these Parisian middle and high schools received these threats on Paris Classe Numérique (PCN), the digital work platform specific to 1st and 2nd degree public schools in the capital.

“We come from the Islamic State”, we can also read in one of these messages which circulated in electronic mail.

Messages via email

“Three bomb threats,” a source from the 15th arrondissement confirms.

These are Duhamel, Debussy and De Staël colleges, a team of mine clearance dogs has been deployed.”

“The checks by the dog teams did not report anything abnormal,” we are told.

In the 19th century, “the school population became attached to each school, college and high school,” adds a second source.

Still according to our information, the Georges-Courteline college (12th century) would also have been the target of these threats, a 14th century establishment as well as the Pierre-Alviset college (5th century), suggesting a generalized threat which could have been sent, via PCN, to all public establishments in the capital via emails.

Some of them are closed.

“There were alerts throughout Paris,” confirms a police source.

In the 15th century, for example, the head of the Georges-Duhamel college received the threat in his emails in the middle of the night.

Neighboring primary and nursery schools remained closed while 900 students were sent home, according to our information.

The national police established a security perimeter.

) will (sic) explode into 1,000 pieces,” was written in these similar messages.

The president of the Île-de-France region Valérie Pécresse then spoke on X about a “cyber attack” and “cyber terrorist threats”.

An investigation had been opened and “everything is being done to find the author(s) of these threats”, declared Prime Minister Gabriel Attal during a press briefing.
