Maike Johanna Reuter was in front of the camera for the RTL soap “Everything that counts” for years.

Now the actress is taking on a part in the hit series “Rose Rosen”.

Lüneburg – For Maike Johanna Reuter (34), her new role in the soap opera “Rote Rosen” means quite a change.

It is the first time in a long time that the actress has taken part in filming for television, which is known to be characterized by a precisely structured daily routine.

Reuter also decided to temporarily move her center of life to Lüneburg in Lower Saxony for her new role in the ARD series.

Maike Johanna Reuter's role really shakes up the “Red Roses” universe

But the TV star seems to be doing well with the restart.

“Last year I took part almost entirely in an improv comedy theater.

It's an extreme change, but it's really nice.

The team is great, everyone is really familiar with each other.

“I feel like I’m in very good hands,” she recently enthused in the ARD interview.

From mid-May, Maike Johanna Reuter will be seen as Valerie Böttcher in “Rote Rosen”.

Her role is a particularly interesting challenge for her, because Valerie manipulates, schemes and generally likes to cause trouble - as an actress, this is a kind of stroke of luck for Reuter.

“It's a lot of fun to be the bad guy who messes everything up,” said Reuter in an official press statement.

“And as Maike, always finding reasons why Valerie lies and schemes to her heart's content.

This is a really nice challenge for me as an actress.” Valerie is the twin sister of Julius, played by Jan Stapelfeldt (41), and therefore also the sister of Franka, played by Birthe Wolter (42).

Her sudden appearance will cause very different reactions from the siblings.

Maike Johanna Reuter already brings soap opera experience to the “Red Roses” set

For Maike Johanna Reuters, this is not the first time she has been involved in an early evening series.

From 2017, the versatile artist stood in front of the camera for “Everything that counts” for two years.

In the RTL soap she took on the main role of nurse Pauline Reusch.

After she decided to leave the soap opera, the woman in her mid-thirties took part in various theater and film productions and was also seen twice in the ZDF crime series “SOKO Cologne”.

Reuter seems to have fond memories of her time on “Everything that counts” because she was finally drawn back to the set of a telenovela.

Maike Johanna Reuter will appear for the first time in episode 3981 of “Rote Rosen” as Valerie Böttcher.
