A serious traffic accident occurred on the A9 near Leipzig on Wednesday morning.
A coach was also involved, the police said.
The accident occurred around 9:45 a.m. between the Wiedemar junction and the Schkeuditzer Kreuz.
The police have not yet been able to say whether there were any injuries.
The road in the direction of Munich is currently completely closed.
