Driving under the influence of drugs on the A94 near Markt Schwaben has serious consequences for a truck driver.
His driving style led to a police operation that resulted in a surprise.
Markt Schwaben -
An attentive driver called the police on Tuesday afternoon because a lumber truck with a trailer was clearly snaking in front of him on the East Airport Tangente (FTO).
The Poing police are now reporting this afterwards.
According to the witness, there had already been a near miss with oncoming traffic.
Follow the FTO and continue onto the motorway
According to the officials, the truck team continued to drive and turned onto the A94 motorway towards Munich near Markt Schwaben.
A patrol from the Poingen inspection department rushed to the scene and stopped the truck.
Alcohol test negative: The driver claims he is tired

The 37-year-old driver from the Rosenheim district told the officers that he was very tired because he had been on the road since 4 a.m. and had previously helped load the wood he was transporting.
An alcohol test on site was negative.
But the police officers “found clear drug-typical signs” in the driver.
Drugs in the cab and an outstanding arrest warrant
When asked, the man admitted that he had smoked a joint, i.e. a cannabis cigarette, the day before.
The police were also able to find and seize a small amount of narcotics in the driver's cab of his truck.
The man's driver's license was also confiscated on site.

A surprise awaited the officers when they checked his personal details: there was an open arrest warrant against the 37-year-old that had to be executed.
