An "instant booking" service is born in Padua, a system of very short rentals, even just for an hour, of structures such as parking spaces, garages and more, rooms or entire apartments.
Hotels and B&Bs can find a side business to the classic online ones.
The service is called "One Hour Nest", "one hour nest" in English, managed through a web and mobile app created within the Ciels university school, based in Padua, Bergamo and Bologna, one of the six centers private universities founded and directed by Simone Borile.
The app has been on the stores since February, and from an initial screening of 30 thousand entrepreneurs in the B&B sector, 28% showed a concrete interest in the platform.
In the short-term rental market, the focus is on the dimension of hourly use, for those who are out of town for work or pleasure and are not interested in doing the classic check in from 6.00 pm and check out by 10.00 am.
One Hour Nest does not ask for commissions, neither from those who offer spaces or services, nor from users.
"We want to leave maximum freedom - states Borile - what happens between the advertiser and the user is their business. And thus we observe that many exchange short and very short rentals or services reciprocally without passing money and instead agree on mutual benefits.
We offer a safe nest, with customers and advertisers verified by our customer service. All adults, all traceable, maximum speed, cost-effectiveness but also safety."
