A 37-year-old teacher was indicted for
“sexual propositions made to a fifteen-year-old minor”
, a third-year student from the same establishment, we learned on Wednesday from the Belfort public prosecutor.
The professor was placed under judicial supervision in March, said prosecutor Jessica Vonderscher, confirming information from France Bleu Belfort-Montbéliard.
He was also suspended from his educational duties during the investigation, she said.
The teacher, whose subject has not been specified, teaches in Delle, a town of around 5,000 inhabitants located around twenty kilometers southeast of Belfort.
According to the first elements of the investigation, he made sexual advances towards a 3rd grade student on several occasions, by sending her messages on his cell phone.
At this point, it is unknown if it is one of his students.
On March 4, the schoolgirl's parents filed a complaint with the gendarmerie.
A judicial investigation was then opened in particular to determine whether the teacher was involved in other cases of this type, according to Vonderscher.
