The large intersection in Neuried is becoming a construction site.
Among other things, the roadway needs to be renovated and renovations are also planned.

The renovation and conversion of state road 2344 at the central Neuried main intersection has been planned for years.
Next week the time has finally come: work on the four construction phases is scheduled to start on Tuesday.
There will probably be significant restrictions for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers until June 8th.
Work on the busy main traffic line begins with the dismantling of the traffic light poles, which will be replaced by construction site traffic lights with yellow road markings.
Construction phases 1 and 2 will then begin on Planegger Straße.
There, the bus stop in front of the old town hall (building authority) and the adjacent intersection corner will be converted to be barrier-free;
the bus stop will be moved out of town behind the school parking lot.
On the other side of the street, the right-turn lane to Gautinger Straße with the small triangle island will be removed.
The schedule calls for the work to be completed by the end of April.
The pedestrian underpass will remain open throughout the construction work.
In construction phases 3 and 4, the renovation will take place at the intersection corners of Forstenrieder Straße and Münchner- and Gautinger Straße.
At the beginning of June, the state road, which has severe ruts, will be given a new surface.
For this purpose, the lanes will be closed in one direction on two weekends;
The adjacent entrances and exits cannot be used on these days either.
The goal is to complete the construction work by June 8th, says deputy building authority manager Christian Glaßer.
Of course, the prerequisite is that the weather cooperates.
Since the offers from two companies were 60 percent higher than the estimated costs, the original tender had to be canceled last year (we reported).
The Kutter company from Bad Wörishofen has now been awarded the contract for the construction work for 464,000 euros.
Ampel-Bau Stockinger GmbH from Munich is responsible for traffic safety for the renovations at the large intersection for 49,000 euros.
The Freising State Building Authority will contribute around 150,000 euros to the costs.
