Frauke Ludowig found out first-hand during “Die Passion” that not everything goes smoothly at a live event: there was a sound breakdown.

Kassel – For the second time, RTL has reinterpreted the story of Jesus' suffering for Easter. “The Passion” takes place in 2024, which is why the biblical scenes took place, among other things, at the train station or in front of Kassel's sights. The live event on RTL went ahead almost until the end without any major problems - but then there was a breakdown.

Frauke Ludowig has sound problems: “The Passion” moderation has to be interrupted briefly

“Die Passion” on RTL ends for TV viewers with a final vocal interpretation by Ben Blümel (42) over the rooftops of Kassel. But all interested fans can still look forward to a little encore. After the mega event, Frauke Ludowig (60) gives an insight behind the scenes and also speaks to the individual actors. “No Angels” star Nadja Benaissa (41), who plays Maria in “The Passion,” will be the first. But there is a problem.

For the TV viewers, the presenter begins to introduce the singer in a clearly audible manner. But suddenly Frauke Ludowig breaks off. “I have no sound?” she asks, followed by a “Wait a minute!” She then starts fiddling with her microphone - but apparently doesn't get any results. Ultimately, the RTL star needs help - but it doesn't come in the form of a sound engineer, but rather from Judas actor Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht (32). “Jimi, you’re a musician, you know your stuff,” she says, and the “Wild Guys” star rushes over.

Late at night: quiet is the order of the day on Kassel's Friedrichsplatz

But as it turns out, there wasn't really a loss of sound - the volume just had to be reduced overall in downtown Kassel. After 10:30 p.m. everything should probably be turned down a bit. “It’s on. “I think we have to be a little quieter here at this time of day,” announces Frauke Ludowig.

But then she can interview the other celebrities as planned. The viewers at home tore up “The Passion” on RTL after just a few minutes.
