Yesterday afternoon there were again shocking calls in the Starnberg police station's service area.
The perpetrators again targeted citizens' cash and jewelry.

Here, perpetrators credibly deceive those called into believing that they are from the police or public prosecutor's office, that there have been break-ins in the neighborhood and that someone close to them has caused a traffic accident.

The perpetrators always aimed to grab cash and jewelry by collecting them, according to the police.
But the prevention campaigns by the police and media are slowly bearing fruit and everyone called recognized the fraud.
The police discovered two calls during the Starnberg inspection, but as a rule there is a real flood of telephone calls within a very short space of time.
