Environment, the 'Sentinels of the sea' - Work & Development will be active from 15 May

Highlights: From May 15th to September 15th, as part of Confcommercio's activity for sustainability, the 'Sentinels of the sea' project will take place. The initiative is dedicated to the "monitoring of marine biodiversity" The project activities will be held in spring and summer, in coordination with the territorial and trade associations of confederation. The 'citizens science' method involves tourists and businesses in coastal areas in research, guided and animated by young biologists, in an activity to raise awareness of the protection of sea.

From May 15th to September 15th, as part of Confcommercio's activity for sustainability, the 'Sentinels of the sea' project will take place, born from the collaboration between the Confederation and the Alma Materstudiorum - University of Bologna, an initiative dedicated to the "monitoring of marine biodiversity which, with the 'citizens science' method, involves tourists and businesses in coastal areas in research, guided and animated by young biologists, in an activity to raise awareness of the protection of the sea and increase environmental awareness".


   This is what was reported this morning, in Rome, on the occasion of the presentation of 'Imprendigreen', an event aimed at developing the ecological transition of companies.

The project activities will therefore be held in spring and summer, in coordination with the territorial and trade associations of Confcommercio, in "10 survey areas along the Italian coast".
