Highlights: Holy Week holidays: how banks, transportation and other services will work for the long weekend. The schedule will be different between Thursday and Friday, and Monday and Tuesday of next week. On Thursday the service will operate with a Saturday schedule, that is, from 6 a.m. to 11/24 p.m., according to the schedule of the last train on each line. On Friday, Monday, April 1, and Tuesday, April 2, the weekend mode will operate. For the rest of the public services, the Buenos Aires Government reported the following schedule.


The schedule will be different between Thursday and Friday, and Monday and Tuesday of next week.


Starting this Thursday, due to the extra long weekend for Easter and the long weekend holiday on April 2, the City's public services and banks will modify their usual schedules and schedules.

The banks, as happens every time it is a holiday, will be closed, but depending on each entity, virtual operations may be carried out.

As for means of transportation, the subways will operate on a Saturday schedule on Thursday, and on a Sunday schedule on the rest of the days.

Trains and buses will also have reduced frequencies.

For the rest of the public services, the Buenos Aires Government reported the following schedule.

  • Hospitals:

    the guards, the SAME and the Febrile Emergency Units will operate from Thursday until next Tuesday.

  • Schools:

    closed.

  • Cemeteries:

    burials in the Cemeteries of Chacarita, Flores, Recoleta and the entry of the deceased to the Crematorium of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires will be carried out from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., receiving the last procedure at 2:00 p.m. and beginning the last burial at 1:30 p.m.

The subways will operate on a Saturday schedule this Thursday, and on Sundays the rest of the days of the long weekend.

  • Government Administration of Public Revenue and General Directorate of Revenue:

    closed.

  • Community Headquarters:

    closed.

  • Civil Registry:

    will remain closed.

    Only the death guard will operate from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

  • Waste collection:

    the service will operate as usual.

  • Parking:

    Parking will be permitted on avenues and streets where parking is prohibited on business days from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

    Metered parking will not be valid.

    All exceptions are marked with signs, either because you can park where the rule says it is prohibited or vice versa.

    In passages, arteries that have Metrobús, coexistence streets and in the space parallel to the bicycle lanes, it is prohibited 24 hours a day.

    In addition, there will be no restriction on pedestrian entry to the Center and Courts.

  • Subways and Premetro:

    on Thursday the service will operate with a Saturday schedule, that is, from 6 a.m. to 11/24 p.m., according to the schedule of the last train on each line.

    On Friday, Monday and Tuesday the service will operate

    with a Sunday/holiday schedule

    , that is, from 8 a.m. to 9/10 p.m., depending on the schedule of the last train on each line.

  • Ecobici

    : Ecobici users will have the following options: Thursday, March 28, the basic pass will apply, while Friday, Monday, April 1, and Tuesday, April 2, the weekend mode will operate.

  • Tolls:

    on Thursday the tolls will operate normally.

    On Friday, Monday and Tuesday they will do so with weekend hours, that is, the peak hour will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. direction Province, and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. direction Center.

  • Registration of driver's licenses, Roca headquarters

    : closed.

  • Learning track:

    will be open during normal hours.

  • Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve: open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Museums and libraries

  • On Thursday, open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Friday and Tuesday, closed.

    On Monday, open from 12 to 8 p.m.

    The Moderno will only be closed on Friday.

    the House of Reading and Writing, Parque de la Estación, Joaquín V. González, Reina Batata and Ricardo Güiraldes will be open.

    The others will remain closed.

Theaters dependent on the GCBA

  • Buenos Aires Theater Complex: closed.

  • San Martín Cultural Center: closed.

  • May 25 Cultural Center: open Thursday the 28th and Friday the 29th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday the 30th from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Tuesday the 2nd from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

  • Recoleta Cultural Center: open.

  • Teatro Colón:

    open (guided tours all four days).

  • Usina del Arte: closed.
