Solar panels have remained more than discreet until now in the agglomeration of Cergy-Pontoise (Val-d'Oise).
Limited to a few rare initiatives, particularly from individuals.
But the region intends to boost photovoltaic energy and the first installations will be visible in the coming weeks.
A first major project is due to begin during the month of April with the installation of 770 panels on the roofs of Essec in the Grand Center district of Cergy.
The start of a long series of initiatives which should follow one another.
