The Alliance for the Future of Germering will soon be opening the city's first exchange house.
The idea: exchange instead of buying.
Germering - It is a container that was set up in the playground at the Großer Recyclinghof next to the Harthaus P&R square.
The motto of the facility is: “Exchange instead of buying”.
According to a statement, the Alliance for the Future of Germering has set itself the goal of making the city waste-free.
Clothes swap party
With exchange parties for clothing and objects as well as gift markets, the association is already making a contribution to conserving resources.
All that was missing was a place where products could get a second chance.
The circulation container is intended to do this.
Here, items can be passed on and used by those who need them at the time.
Shelves, shelves
Anyone who wants to use the exchange house can bring in well-preserved, still-functioning items and present them on shelves and shelves.
If you find something there that you can use, you take it with you in return.
The container was delivered and installed in February.
It was financed by the Circulation Cabinets Association, the Community Foundation for the Fürstenfeldbruck District and private sponsors.
Children from the Theresen and Wittelsbach schools decorated it colorfully.

Inauguration:
The circulation container will be officially opened on Saturday, April 6th at 2 p.m. and named Tausch-Haus.
