-10/27/2002: María Marta García Belsunce (50) was found dead by her husband, Carlos Carrascosa, in an alleged accident in the bathtub of their home at the Carmel Country Club, in Pilar.

-02/12/2002: The body was exhumed 36 days after death and the autopsy revealed that the woman had been killed by five .32 caliber bullets to her head and that a sixth grazed her scalp.

-05/12/2011: The prosecutors of Pilar Daniel Márquez and Leonardo Loiterstein requested the arrest and investigation of Irene Hurtig for the murder of her half-sister María Marta García Belsunce.

-12/20/2016: A transition chamber of the Buenos Aires Court of Cassation annulled the conviction after discovering serious irregularities in the investigation and acquitted Carrascosa.

-10/12/2020: The Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation definitively confirmed the acquittal of Carrascosa in the crime of his wife.

-07/13/2022: The TOC 4 of San Isidro began to judge Pachelo and the former guards José Ortiz and Norberto Glennon, as alleged co-authors of the García Belsunce crime.

-07/28/2022: Pachelo said in court that he was "totally unrelated" to the event.

-08/26/2022: The widower Carrascosa declared for the first time as a private victim in a trial for the case and said: "I have been waiting for twenty years to be in front of my wife's murderer."

-09/13/2022: At the request of the trial prosecutors, the San Isidro Justice reopened the case for the death of Pachelo's father in January 1996, to investigate whether he was murdered by his own son.

-10/21/2022: In his last statement before the allegations, Pachelo again assured that he was innocent.

"I did not kill María Marta, I did not steal from her, I was not a campaigner nor did I hate her; I am totally oblivious to that," he said.

-12/2/2022: Pachelo was acquitted in a split ruling for the homicide of the sociologist.

He was sentenced to 9 and a half years for a series of robberies at countries in the GBA in 2017 and 2018.
