There is reason to be happy in the block making ring!

One of the “Hartz und cordial” actors has positive news to report after a difficult phase.

The social documentary “Hartz und Herzen” shows the lives of people in Rostock Groß Klein with all its ups and downs.

The prefabricated buildings in the Hanseatic city's Blockmacherring have become a social hot spot, where many of the residents are struggling with dire financial worries.

Some of them have been accompanied in everyday life by the RTLZWEI camera team since 2020.

MANNHEIM24 reports on all the news about the show:

Jack from “Hartz und Herzen” has had a difficult time – psychosis and inability to work

At 24 years old, trans man Jack has also had to overcome some difficulties.

For example, the “Hartz und cordial” star separated from his wife Kathleen (now Noah) some time ago.

However, the two remain good friends and support each other.

Jack's professional life has also been rather bumpy so far: Because the “Hartz und cordial” actor had struggled with mental problems and psychoses in the past, he had himself admitted and was no longer able to do any work.

But in the new episodes of “Hartz and Warm” from Rostock, he reports that his new medication is working well and he feels stable enough to work again.

Jack feels ready to work again – the “Hartz und cordial” star has a job lined up

That's why he quickly called his old employer, a sandwich shop, and asked about another job.

“Over the holidays I'll do two trial jobs where we'll see if it works mentally and if it works, we'll get funding from the employment office so that I'll be supported for six months,” Jack tells the RTLZWEI team.

If everything goes well, he will be hired as a part-time worker and may even be able to begin his training in the sandwich company in the summer.

Jack has high hopes for this job because he finally wants to earn his own money again after three years of being dependent on citizens' money.

There are also positive things to report for the Rostock native when it comes to love!

After his breakup, he is finally active on the dating market again.

“I'm just getting to know a girl and things are going very well,” says Jack happily.

The two met on the dating app Lovoo.

His ex Noah has no problem with Jack's new romance, but is happy for him.

He is also looking for a partner, but hasn't had any luck yet.

But that doesn't bother him: "If they don't want to, they're just out of luck, I won't stress about it." (sks)
