A serial rapist in the capital?
A man of Malian nationality and in an irregular situation was indicted and imprisoned a few days ago for the alleged rape of two women, one of whom was 8 months pregnant,

learned this Wednesday March 27, confirming information from BFMTV.
This man, born in June 1995 in Mali, was arrested on March 12 at his workplace, a Parisian restaurant.
According to our information, the facts occurred on July 12, 2021, then last February.
The first of the two rapes was allegedly committed on a 21-year-old young woman, near Porte d'Aubervilliers in the 19th arrondissement of Paris.
The victim is first approached by a stranger in the street.
Getting scared, she accelerates her pace, before being caught up by this same person, on a bike.
He then throws himself on her, making her fall to the ground, then strangles her, undresses her and rapes her.
After the attack, the young woman filed a complaint.
Bicycle rapist
The second was committed in February 2024. The young woman, aged 27, was 8 months pregnant at the time of the facts.
According to BFMTV, the victim, a drug addict, said she had been raped by an individual in a park, near Porte de la Chapelle, when she had come to buy a dose of crack.
She would have mentioned to investigators the profile of her attacker: a man on a bicycle, who strangled her, before abusing her.
The alleged rapist, found using a genetic fingerprint, was indicted on March 14 and placed in pre-trial detention.
Investigators are trying to determine if the suspect is involved in other cases that occurred over the past two years.
