One step forward… three steps back.

The reform of the electoral voting method in Paris, Lyon and Marseille (PLM) seems to be slipping.

This Wednesday, during a press conference, the boss of the Renaissance deputies in the National Assembly, Sylvain Maillard, was quite confident on the subject.

He is refining his bill with his colleague David Amiel, and plans to present it by May or June.

“There would be two ballot boxes: one to elect the mayor of Paris and the elected representatives of the Paris Council, another to designate the district mayor and district councilors.

Parisians would thus directly elect the mayor of Paris,” repeats David Amiel.
