Patricia Bullrich reiterated tonight that she will insist on reforming the law so
that the Armed Forces go out to combat terrorism
in key places, as is currently happening in Rosario, and marking a clear position on this issue with Vice President Victoria Villarruel.
"We must
take the Armed Forces out of penance
. I do not vindicate the Army from the military coups and its practices in the dictatorship that were outside the rule of law and our Constitution," the minister expressed on the TN signal.
And he continued: "Keeping the Armed Forces from what they did in the past is bad.
If we change reality, the same will not happen.
There are many soldiers who committed aberrations, but others did not."
The Minister of Security pointed out the role she would like the Armed Forces to have that moves away from the fight against drug trafficking as a common crime: her intervention proposes situations such as that of Rosario, where drug traffickers generate commotion with crimes with a mafia message.
