- The local council of Höhenkirchen-Siegertsbrunn has now voted by a large majority in favor of extending the sublease agreement necessary for operations by 15 years.
There has been a contract for leasing the space between the municipality and the Munich district since 2015.
The district has now built buildings on the property to accommodate asylum seekers, refugees and homeless people, the so-called feel-home houses, and has sublet them for operations.
The operating company, i.e. the subtenant, now wanted the sublease agreement to be extended, which would have ended on October 11, 2026.
Citizens have accepted accommodation
The town hall administration suggested agreeing to the extension.
After all, we have only had good experiences with the location of the shared accommodation so far.
A large majority of citizens would also have accepted the accommodation.
CSU parliamentary group spokesman Roland Spingler wanted to agree to an extension of the sublease agreement, but only for ten years.
