A drastic change in the weather within a few hours is heading towards Munich and the region.
The German Weather Service has issued a warning.
Munich – Turbulent weather day for the region.
For Wednesday (March 27th) you need several outfits in Munich.
The reason: The weather will probably change rapidly within a few hours.
While it is still spring-like warm in the state capital at midday and early afternoon in bright sunshine with temperatures of up to 18 degrees, in the evening the thermometer drops to just four degrees, according to forecasts from the German Weather Service (DWD).
There is supposed to be a lot of rain.
DWD issues warning for Munich: dramatic weather change is heading for the region
But step by step: As the DWD predicts, the weather situation should change around 5 p.m. in the afternoon.
Until then, a warning about gusts of wind has been in effect since the morning (until 8 p.m.); in exposed locations, gusts of up to 70 km/h can be expected.
The same applies to the surrounding region; the entire south of Bavaria is affected.
Then, from that afternoon onwards, the temperatures will drop before it is expected to rain from around 6 p.m.
Within a few hours, the temperatures crashed: by 9 p.m., with persistent rainfall, the temperature was only supposed to be four degrees - a drop of 14 degrees within a few hours.

A severe weather change is imminent in Munich: within a few hours
On Maundy Thursday, cloudy weather with only ten degrees and isolated precipitation will move across the region, according to the DWD.
But it will probably only be a short interlude before the Easter weekend brings imperial weather.
Temperatures are currently expected to reach a peak of up to 20 degrees from Good Friday to Easter Sunday.
Coupled with lots of sunshine, you probably won't need multiple outfits anymore.
With a T-shirt and a light jacket you can probably get through the holidays well.
