Berlin - The criticism that Roland Kaiser's (71) hit lyrics are too dirty is not new.
Barbara Schöneberger (50) discovered this in January of this year and found it to be extremely problematic.
Kerstin Ott (42) went one step further and confronted Roland Kaiser in his own anniversary show about his suggestive song lyrics.
Now the pop star himself explains why his lyrics are always a little more indecent than those of his colleagues.

“When it comes to Schlager, there are two options: Either you want the heart or you go a little deeper,” said Roland Kaiser in the “Polaks Schlagertalk” podcast.
For him it always has a huge effect “if there is a lot of eroticism involved,” he reveals.
“But how does that happen?” asks moderator Oliver Polak (47).
Roland Kaiser’s answer is quite simple: “Love isn’t just about holding hands.
There’s still more to come.”
The pop star simply enjoys writing and singing about the female gender.
“Women are something wonderful.
And I'm just saying: Love isn't just holding hands on the beach, it's more.
Writing goes a little deeper for me.
