The head of a crime organization from the center of the country was arrested tonight (Wednesday) on suspicion of being involved in an attempted attack on a police officer.
The suspect was arrested along with three others who were in the car with him - when they allegedly tried to attack a policeman after he noticed them crossing an intersection with a red light.
After the four suspects were taken in for questioning - the police will ask for an extension of their detention at the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court.
Suspects were arrested for blackmailing a business owner.
