The heads of the ultra-Orthodox factions raised last night (Tuesday) during the meeting with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Justice Minister Yariv Levin a fear that the High Court will stop government funding for yeshiva in the coming days, in the absence of a government decision that would advance the issue of the exemption from conscription for ultra-Orthodox whose "teachings are their art". According to sources present at the meeting , Netanyahu replied to the ultra-Orthodox: "We will find a solution to every problem."
The meeting between Netanyahu and the ultra-Orthodox lasted for many hours, and among other things, the parties raised scenarios about a possibility in which the government would not advance a cabinet decision as it is being prepared. Miara, for not wanting to reach a real solution.
One of the leaders of the factions said during the meeting to Netanyahu: "We could have passed the law before the budget as we were promised in the coalition agreement and we would have been after this event."
Netanyahu tried to reassure and clarified: "We will do everything to meet our commitments."

Officials in Likud and the ultra-Orthodox parties estimated this morning that the chances of reaching agreements during the next day, which also include approval of a decision in the government, are "very low", in their words.
According to them, the disparities are large and so far no agreed wording has been found that the legal counsel to the government would be ready to defend in the High Court.
