child sexual abuse on different web platforms

The operation, carried out in the Buenos Aires district of La Matanza, culminated in the arrest of the alleged leader of the organization.
Researchers from the Cyber Crimes Against Children and Adolescents Division were the ones who carried out meticulous monitoring on social networks to detect activities related to the sexual exploitation of minors.
On this occasion, their joint work with the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation allowed them to identify an individual who was profiting from the
sale of explicit images of children
through the Telegram application.
Thus, the existence of a user who sold
explicit images of minors to several countries in exchange for an economic return in dollars
was discovered .
The raid was in a house in La Tablada, in La Matanza.
The investigations took the agents to the town of La Tablada, where the suspect operated.
With the collaboration of the Prosecutor's Office for Crimes Related to Human Trafficking, Child Pornography and Grooming, headed by Dr. Lorena Pecorelli, field tasks were carried out that allowed the identification of the alleged perpetrator of this criminal network, as well as users. in other countries that were involved in these illicit activities.

a 53-year-old Argentine man was arrested
, while another 27-year-old individual was notified in relation to the case.
