Last weekend, the traditional sheet metal avalanches lined up on the traffic arteries heading south.
This year, many people are choosing to use their own car to reach their destination for their Holy Week holiday.
This year, Lake Garda, South Tyrol and Austria are once again the most popular destinations for Munich residents and people from the region who are traveling on four wheels, as the travel company

At Easter 2024, Munich residents will also travel by plane.
The Maldives are proving to be a popular long-haul destination this year.

predicts, the island awaits vacationers with temperatures of almost 18 degrees and recurring rain.
Even the Mediterranean is not ideal for swimming at 16 degrees.

However, a journey here takes on average just under 13 hours.
