“Accompanying this test phase, the conversion of the traffic lights is now underway,” announced the state building authority on Wednesday.

In concrete terms, this means that the dismantling of the existing traffic light system will continue and be completed.

Civil engineering work will then be carried out to create the foundations for the new traffic lights, followed by the gradual construction of the new traffic lights.

“The contracted construction company will carry out the necessary work outside of peak hours if possible,” explains the State Building Authority.
