The weather is variable this Wednesday.
The trend is towards improvement throughout the day, according to Météo France, before further rain and storms arrive.
Furthermore, the wind will strengthen in a large western part of the country.
In the morning,
precipitation continues throughout the east of the country, including in regions close to the sea. But in this area, these are the last hours of the Mediterranean episode which took shape on Monday.
In the Alps, the last snowfall of the day takes place.
They caused the establishment of orange vigilance (level 3 on a scale of 4) for the departments of Isère, Haute-Loire, and Loire due to the presence of snowflakes at low altitude.
At dawn they fell below a limit of 300m-400m in the north of Isère in particular.
Elsewhere, the weather is overcast;
in Brittany it is rainy.
In Occitania, the sky is clear.
This afternoon,
the sun is gaining ground in the south of the country along the Mediterranean.
It will also be present in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Burgundy and Hauts-de-France.
Precipitation will continue to occur in Alsace and the border Alps as well as on an axis going from Normandy to Limousin.
Temperatures will be seasonal or slightly below average in the north of France, ranging from 11°C to 14°C.
In the South, they will be around fifteen degrees, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, which is a few degrees lower than average.
The wind will also be one of the characteristics of the afternoon.
By tracing a line from the Belgian border to the Pyrénées-Atlantiques it will blow in gusts of 50 km/h to 60 km/h.
One of the consequences will be that the feeling of temperature will be lower than the expected values under shelter in the regions concerned.
For example, when it is 10°C and the wind reaches 60 km/h, the feeling is around 5°C.

At the end of the day and the next night,
precipitation intensifies throughout western France and often becomes stormy.
It is around the Atlantic that the most intense storms are expected.
During the night, precipitation sinks into the interior of the entire country, except the Grand Est and Hauts-de-France regions.
Thunderstorms only last from the Gironde estuary to Brittany.
In Île-de-France,
the weather is overcast in the morning.
In the afternoon, the sky clears in the east of the region.
Maximum temperatures will be between 11°C and 14°C, hardly seasonal.
The rain will return overnight.
