This is the animal saga that has been driving this small town in the south of Oise for two months. In Saint-Maximin, particularly in the Champignolles district, the presence of wild boars since January has unleashed all passions. While two sows were slaughtered, only seven wild pigs remain in the area, which have become the attraction of the area, at the heart of all concerns.
Those who are “for” this animal presence in an urban environment are worried about their future and would like to see them placed in shelters before something bad happens to them. Those who are “against” are worried about seeing them grow and become a threat.
