In the Waldshut district, a 19-year-old is said to have killed his parents and brother with a stabbing weapon. They died at the scene. Only the sister survived.
Waldshut – Family drama in Baden-Württemberg: A 19-year-old is said to have attacked his family with a stabbing weapon on Tuesday evening (March 26th). Both of his parents (58, 61) and his 34-year-old brother did not survive the attack. The Waldshut-Tiengen public prosecutor's office and the Freiburg police headquarters inform about this in a joint press release.

According to the information, the parents of the alleged attacker died at the scene. The brother died from his injuries in hospital despite attempts at resuscitation. The sister (age unknown) was also injured. She was flown to a clinic in a rescue helicopter. It is said that their injuries are not life-threatening.

The case occurred in an apartment building in the Waldshut district, not far from the Swiss border. The accused was temporarily arrested at the scene. An arrest warrant will probably be issued against him on Wednesday (March 27) on strong suspicion of manslaughter in three cases and attempted manslaughter. The investigation into the case is ongoing. There are currently no precise details about the crime or the background to the attack. It is the presumption of innocence.
